Kun WaeianCareer Guidance Platform
We turned the Kun Waeian career-guidance initiative in Dhofar from scattered pages and files into an interactive platform that helps students in grades 8 to 12 understand their interests and choose their subjects and paths.

What was needed
The initiative’s material lived on an 18-page Google Sites page with about 131 files: PDF guides, videos, documents and spreadsheets. What a student needs to know about careers, subjects, study tracks and university admission was buried in those files. The brief was an interactive platform that keeps every original document available.
What we built
We built an Arabic platform that starts with the student: an interests scale and an entrepreneurial-traits scale with instant results, then 244 careers from the official Mihnati guides that can be searched and compared. The My Subjects tool shows which of the nine study tracks and which university programmes stay open with each subject a student picks, and My Journey gathers the results on one printable sheet. No account is needed; answers stay on the student’s device.
What’s in it
An interests scale of 54 statements that finds the closest of six work environments, and an entrepreneurial-traits scale of 38 situations, both with instant results.
A directory of 244 careers from the official Mihnati guides, with search, filters and a two-career comparison.
A My Subjects planner for grades 11 and 12 that shows which of the nine tracks and the 250 university programmes stay open.
A My Journey page that puts interests, traits, subjects and saved careers on one printable sheet to discuss with the guidance specialist.
A library of 142 official files that shows each file’s size before it opens, plus a parents’ page and the 2026/2027 unified admission guide.
